Every item of First Ascent gear is made by outdoor fanatics for real people who do real outdoor pursuits. In fact, this is so ingrained in our ethos that we couldn’t imagine a team that isn’t as obsessed with every aspect of the outdoors as we are. First Ascent was started in a garage in 1989 manufacturing down sleeping bags and parkas. In the early 2000s, we expanded into activewear and cycling gear.
