Reflection in the adventure industry is the ability or opportunity to look back on experiences:

  • to investigate and analyse your own thoughts and behaviour

  • to analyse and assist group thinking and behaviours

  • to reflect on alternative actions

  • to look for better applications

  • to become better, safer, and more efficient

  • and to learn from experiences and transfer the learning to diverse real-life situations.

Conference Tickets:

  • Includes full conference & all evening events (lunches, dinners, presentations, workshops, CPD training, evening events).

  • Excludes accommodation & breakfast (can be selected on the next page).

  • SA AIA members are those whose SA AIA membership is in good standing.

  • Student options are those who are still studying and are not professional.

  • Speakers/presenters are offered special student rates.

  • You have full unlimited access to the resort (within the bounds of their rules).

  • A tea and coffee station will also be available.

SA AIA Student Members:                 R1,600 per person

Professional Non-Members:              R2,400 per person

TICKETS

CPD Workshops:

  • You must choose at least one workshop per person you are booking for (it is included in the conference fee).

  • These workshops are limited to certain numbers, and works on a first come, first served basis. If the workshop you choose is no longer available, we will contact you with an alternative option.

  • CPD training workshops are run at the same time for the majority of the day (Thursday, 17 July 2025) in and around the ATKV Drakensville resort.

  • The workshop may be run outdoors or indoors - depending on context and space available. Please ensure you have durable clothing for these workshops.

Accommodation:

  • Options are either single or double beds in a two sleeper, four sleeper or six sleeper unit. The options below are either to share a room with someone or to have the room for yourself. If you have any special requests or requirements, please let us know after submitting your form.

  • Includes accommodation for 4 evenings (check-in: 14 July, check-out: 18 July).

  • Campsites are also available - no minimum amount of people, however a maximum of 6 people per campsite.

  • All options also provide a breakfast voucher at the resort's restaurant worth R50 per day for 4 days.

  • All options are also self-catering.

  • You have full unlimited access to the resort (within the bounds of their rules).
